For those of you who want to go beyond topless and thongs, there is the Desire Resort. Yes, you have probably heard about this 'sex' resort, but many couples who go, like us, are neither swingers nor exhibitionists. What we like is that just about everyone is topfree or nude any time at the beach, pool, or hottub. The pool is pretty tame during the day, the beach has some beds which get used for the obvious (though its against the rules),mostly in the late afternoon, and the hottub is pretty raunchy before dinnertime and after 10pm. Just after dinner though, it is quiet and quite romantic with an amazing view. It, too, has beds and you will quickly figure out what to do on them.
So, if you are interested in a nude resort with no kids, you might want to check it out. We've been there three times. It is also quite reasonable.
The beach on the north end of the island (Playa Norte) was beautiful. The beach had pristine white sand and beautiful turquoise water. The beach was not very crowded which gives you a more relaxed feeling.
They had a carnival there while we were there. The carnival was neat but we did not get a good view of the dance floor where they preformed. We stayed clear because the sound was way too loud for our liking. It was really cool to see everyone all dressed up and dancing on the streets.
The food there was good. We had some tacos and Marbuesitas. That was a first for us. Never had them before.

We had such a wonderful time there and I got a great tan too! By far the most topfree friendly place. No one really cared what you were wearing or not wearing:)

We just returned from 8 days in Playa Del Carmen, Nov 8th to 16th and the weather was absolutely beautiful.We stayed in a small condo developement which has a gorgeous rooftop pool. The day was split between the beach and the pool, in the mornings we would go to the beach around 9AM and walk until about 1030AM. During the walk I was topless and very comfortable doing so. I did recieve many looks and a few people asked to take my photo, my husband always laughs at some of the reactions I get. There were other topless women on the beaches a few would walk the beach but not many, mostly in and out of the water and lounging. I did notice that after a few days of our walks some people became aware of our time frame of walking and I developed a few daily admirers. I do get noticed I guess because I wear only a cowboy hat and a thong, I am 5ft 2 in 115 lbs and thanks to the lord 36DDs naturally, I am always asked if they are real or how much they cost.
