Rule Number
One: Its OK for women to be topless while in the process of breastfeeding. Rule Number Two: If you're not breastfeeding, you have to cover your breasts, except for young girls (without any breast development).

I reside in Kelowna, BC and have recently started a movement w/in my city to address the ignorant attitudes towards female topless tanning. A couple weeks ago, I experienced extremely degrading comments from teen males situated behind me on a local public beach. They seemed to be confused about how they felt on the issue. One sentence they'd be saying how great it is to have breasts to look at right in front of them. The next sentence, they'd say that it's messed up and topless tanning shouldn't be done on beaches w/ families because it's against the law(obviously they were uneducated on the current legality of the matter). They made sexual remarks about how they'd like to get on top of me and...do some other things. My girlfriend and I had never been to the beach together before. She knew my preference for naturism, but had never experimented herself.
In summer 2005, she agreed to come with me at Oka Beach but she warned me to not insisted for her to get undresses. I agreed.
The Oka beach is located inside a national park in Quebec. On this beach, there is a supervised part , with lifegard and organized activities, where people can spend day in family. And a few farther, a no-official part where clothes are in option. Or if you prefer a‘free beach’.
When we arrived on the free side, we saw some person naked, some other only topfree and few with their swimsuit. We found a quite spot, and we set our place. As usual, I got naked and I toke advantage of the sun. My girlfriend was steel shy and kept her bikini.
